Question: Why TPOC focused?

---

Many general online trans spaces are either mainly US focused or are primarily white, which can be alienating for tpoc based who are not based in the US.With the marginalised intersection between being both trans/non-binary and a person of colour, tpoc face unique challenges.Specific resources for people of colour, i.e.
trans friendly barbers and hairdressers for textured hair, poc-specific makeup tips and advice, etc can be hard to find. This is where TPOCUK comes in.

This server is open to any trans or non-binary person who is a person of colour, global majority or black and ethnic minority and is based in the United Kingdom.

Question: I'm white/not a person of colour, global majority or bame. Can I still Join?

No. This is a poc only server for trans and non-binary people.

Question: I'm not trans or non-binary, but I am an ally. Can I still join?

No. This is a server created by and for trans people who are poc.
Whilst we appreatiate you being an ally and advocating for us, this server was created as a safe space for trans people to talk to and gain support from other tpoc.
